IATMO - the International Academy of Tumor Marker Oncology - is an
organization founded by Professor Janis Klavins from New York and Professor
George Birkmayer from Wien, that encourages studies about tumor markers and
their clinical applications.
The Journal of Tumor Marker Oncology is the
official scientific journal of the Academy of Tumor Marker, that publishes
not only studies on tumor markers, but also studies on different fields of
cancer research: genetic and epigenetic control of tumor growth, cell death
and differentiation of tumor cell, the fate of stem cells and their
cancerous progeny and on many other fields of cancer, that are in the list
of topics of XXIII IATMO Conference that will be held in Trieste, Italy from
the 19th to the 21st of October.
The Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal
of Tumor Marker Oncology is constituted by Professors of the most important
scientific Institutions on Cancer research of the World: Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York, Albert Einstein College of
Medicine of USA, Wadsworrth Center of Albany, New York, European Institute
of Oncology, Milan, Italy and of the Universities of different countries:
Austria, Canada, Cina, Germany, Israel, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, USA.
